The modern home has become a cramped space, filled with the anxiety of the future. The concept of home, therefore, is to create a sanctuary that calms the mind and allows the family to live and think in peace. It should subtly highlight the natural relationships between humans and nature—wood to beetle, beetle to tree, tree to forest, forest to air, air to sky. The house must serve as a place where one can shed all distractions and find strength, offering a safe haven for the mind, soul, and body.

The primary goal of this project was to create a central garden of repose, where the garden itself becomes the heart of the design, with the houses gently wrapping around it. Two distinct homes are designed with a shared connection to the garden, which symbolizes silence, serenity, and intimacy. The beauty of the garden and the ineffable experience it offers should evoke a sense of wonder about nature in the owner. Each space within the homes fosters a serene and silent dialogue between the user and the void. The garden ultimately becomes the unifying space for both houses, designed for two brothers, binding their lives together in shared tranquility.
