The house is situated on the outskirts of a village, on a plotted piece of land. Its design responds to the local climate, with a thick layer of service spaces on the west side and carefully controlled openings facing south. These key concepts guide the layout, orienting the living areas to take advantage of prevailing winds and sunlight, creating a dramatic interplay of light and shadow. The design adapts to the angularity of the site, shaping the architecture to provide shade for the main living spaces. The open kitchen plan is interrupted by a sunken formal living area, where the spatial experience is further elevated by the presence of exposed brick Rohtak domes.
