The house is located on the outskirts of the village on a plotted parcel of land. The house is designed as a response to climatic conditions with a thick layer of services on the west and controlled openings towards the south. These simple ideas organize the functions of the plan orienting them towards the direction of wind and sun creating drama of light. The house negotiates the angular shapes of the site and develops the aesthetics that are carved to shade the main living spaces. The open kitchen plan is broken by the sunken formal living space where these volumetric spaces are enhanced by exposed brick Rohtak domes.
